Monkeys from the Wizard of Oz book and films. It must say something about the popularity of the book and movie that
the characters are still current and liked as the book is over 100 years old and the movie is know just over 70

The Flying monkeys are controlled by the wicked Witch of the West. She sends them out to wreak havoc on Dorothy
and her companions when they reach Oz. And these pesky critters are pretty darn effective. They pull poor old
Scarecrow to pieces. They even kidnap Dorothy and take her to the wicked witch. The lead monkey is called Nikko and
he is recognized by the golden cap that he wears when “on duty”. These flying monkeys really come to life in the
movie and are quite scary for a film of over 70 years ago that was made for kids anyhow.
So this costume is not about cute characters but somehow a baby dressed as a flying Monkey does look totally
adorable. People won't be able to stop chuckling when they see your little one dressed as Nikko or one of the other
cheeky little monkeys. And if your little one is a cheeky little monkey then even better, he's living up to his
character.
The Flying Monkey of Oz Baby Bunting Costume consists of a brown colored fleece material. It is a monkey suit
you could say. The legs have monkey feet that can be attached. There is also a contrasting beige color for the
monkey belly and a green vest that can be removed if needed.
The baby's hands are free, as is the face. There is a hood that can be raised or dropped down if your baby wants
it. The hood has details that make it look like an animal head, such as ears, eyes and a snout. There is also a
tuft of soft white fur on the top of the hood/head. The hood is fastened round the chin of the baby.
The finishing touch of the costume is the purple colored wings. They can be attached or detached as you see fit.
This is a fun costume that will have grown ups melting when they see that little face staring out at them.
