As you can see in the picture, the costume is a depiction of a pea pod that has been split open to reveal the individual peas. There are three light green foam like 'peas' on the front of the costume. They represent peas and line up with your baby's face, which is the fourth pea in the pod.

The rest of the costume is meant to be the pod. There is an outer part of the pod which is a lighter  green color and for contrast, the inner part of the pod is a darker shade of green. The fourth pea or your baby's head is covered by a hood or bonnet that is fastened by a fabric chinstrap. The hood has a leaf detail to give it a bit of shape and to focus people attention on the baby's face. All in all, it makes for a cute and humorous baby bunting costume.

The costume itself is made from a fleece fabric that will keep baby warm on evenings when you are  out socializing with friends. The fleece fabric is commonly used in most winter jackets as the inner lining and does a great job at trapping in the body's warmth whilst still allowing the skin to breath and not become too stuffy.

The costume is fairly easy to put on and take off as there is are fabric fastening buckles at the back of the costume. Undo the fasteners and baby can be lifted in and out of the costume.
